Little Stars Ranch Camp, July 2024

This year's Little Stars Ranch Camp has created memories and experiences that we will cherish for years to come. We sang, laughed, and played. We connected with nature, animals, and each other. We were all encouraged to learn, own our space/boundaries around horses, and be the biggest versions of ourselves we can be!

The kiddos spent time understanding the importance of connecting with the natural world and animals through time with the ranch critters, horsemanship, wild craft, games, swimming in the ranch "swimming pool," and understanding the importance behind an array of ranch chores.

They spent lots of time in nature foraging for berries, harvesting, re-potting, and watering plants, and identifying different species on the property. Christian's quest to cure society's plant blindness resulted in a challenge: If the kiddos were able to name and identify 50 plants on the ranch by the end of the week, he would make them wood-fired pizza on Friday. They had 50 (and counting) plants identified by Wednesday!

We're so thankful to those who spent this week learning and growing with us. We look forward to seeing you back at the ranch soon!
